Role
The Solution Sales Specialist for License Consulting Services (LCS) will provide Consultancy support to key Clients who are looking for best-in-class Managed License Optimisation service that will deliver tangible value to our Clients.
The Charter
The Solution Sales Specialist owns the Presales and delivery guidance of the defined License Optimisation service during the delivery of projects in conjunction with delivery lead.
Success is defined by high uptake of License services coupled with high-quality outcome and client experience.
Scope of Work
- The Solution Sales Specialist utilizes generated qualified opportunities by the account teams but also acts as a hunter to generate net new opportunities and engages with the client as a pre-sales consultant to sell the offerings
- Grow existing revenues by generating multiyear annuity Managed Licence services deals
- Cross-sells Client multiple vendor optimisation Services
- Builds strong relationships with the Local Account Sales Teams Builds a 30/60/90 day pipeline in excess of 3 x GP margin target - Meets or exceeds defined objectives and targets for profitable sales
- When required, participates in activities relating to:
a) standard operating procedures,
b) training and development, and
c) Team meetings - Participates in marketing and strategic pre-sales support
Additional Details
The person is a key contributor in terms of revenue and further development of the Service.
Partners with Local Teams and EMEA HQ leader
Drives development of repeatable project delivery documents/templates.
Minimum Requirements
- University degree
- 5+ years in sale and delivery of IT / Licensing Solutions
- Experience with consulting services management or five years of experience performing billable consulting work or consultative sales within the target Practice area.
Skills and Abilities
- Technology Excitement, Consulting & Software Licensing expertise: Microsoft is a must. Will value IBM; Symantec; Oracle , VmWare, Citrix, SAP. Proven track record in driving profitability and customer satisfaction
- Executive Maturity: capable to lead CXO engagements
- Teamwork : willing to partner internally and externally to secure the resources needed to win
- Communication Skills: Must be an excellent communicator - both written and oral. With excellent customer relationship management skills and ability to interface seamlessly with sales staff.
- Project Management Skills: ability to manage several project in parallel securing on time and high quality delivery
