YOUR ROLE AND MISSION
Conception, development and implementation of new algorithms for SLAM for service robotic applications
YOUR PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must Haves:
· MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Math, or other algorithmic-centric discipline or equivalent experience
· Previous experience in robotics with focus on localization and mapping (SLAM), robot control and navigation (local trajectory planning and execution)
· Development on visual localization, computer vision and mapping solutions, e.g. for open spaces (vSLAM)
· 3 to 5 years of professional experience with modern C++ and ROS
Nice to Haves:
· Understanding of software parallelization and hardware acceleration using GPUs is beneficial
· Experience with other languages (Python, Matlab) is beneficial
· Fluent in English, German would be beneficial
· Master thesis or PhD in SLAM, preferably vSLAM (using camera), strong background and experience in computer vision, photogrammetry, localization and mapping
